Penny and I enjoy going horseback riding when we are in the mountains. We have visited a few stables and like all of them that we have visited. One thing we have learned is some of them are on level ground and some of them go up and down the mountains. The reason this is important to know is the ones on more level ground is less challenging on the rider. If you are up for the challenge and the workout, go for the hills. If you are just looking for a relaxing ride with less work on the rider, find one that has fewer hills.
